I’ve noticed this year when I run up my two flights of stairs at home my heart will be racing so hard it actually starts vibrating, it feels like I have a mobile phone buzzing in my chest. It only happens when my heart is beating really really fast. It stops after a few seconds but it’s horrific and it scares me

My doctor said it sounds like Palps and if I’m not feeling faint, having chest pains or actually fainting she isn’t concerned.
I’ve had two normal ECG’s the last two months and I had a chest X-ray and no one said anything about my heart appearing to look weird. Has anyone had this vibration feeling?

Hi - I get a shaky heart a lot. Sometimes feels like vibrating. I have read that it's anxiety related so trying not to obsess about it. I too have had 2 ECGs in the past month and all good. My DR also said that she would only be worried if I felt dizzy or faint at the same time, which I don't. It's so hard to put all these horrible symptoms down to anxiety but I'm slowly realising that these things only happen when I'm anxious and obsess over them. hope you are ok.

Yes/No

Kind of.

I made a post on here the best part of a year ago saying I had become very apparent of my heartbeat and it was rocking/shaking my body. I suppose you could consider it a vibration of some sort. It's all very confusing, I still have it now! I would say If I do anything that speeds my heart up somewhat I could describe it as having a phone vibrating on my chest.

Doctors/specialists don't really care unless your having other problems with it. Which I suppose is a good thing but not particularly helpful. I really should go back and try and get to the bottom of my problems but when they start asking questions like chest pains/out of breath/dizzy feelings? and you say no to all of them you basically just get told not to worry about it.

Have you read 'self help for your nerves'. Dr Claire Weekes? It helped me with my HA. Is your resting heart rate ok? I think that's when a high heart rate is concerning.
