Day 2 with zero sleep, as well as 100 mg of benadryl with no luck. Fear this might acutely be sfi.

It's not that, you're just stressed.

My therapist recommends winding down long before bedtime and try to avoid watching things that make me anxious. If I watch anything political before bed, no sleep for me. Try to relax and rest and see if you can dose off or nap. benadryl makes me worse, I've been using melatonin 1.5 1/2 hour before bedtime and I've noticed a difference.

All the best.

I finally got to sleep with the help of melatonin last night for a few hours, but can it make you feel like you have medicine head the nexts day? I slept for a while I belive, but I feel more exhausted today with sleep then I did with out sleep.

If I've had a period of bad sleep, and then I get some sleep, I feel dreadful the next day. The sleep is so welcome but I think it takes your body a while to recover so I feel worse before better.

There are lots of tips on this site about setting night time routines, not lying in bed sleepless etc, it's worth doing those as well as the melatonin (I've found that useful in the past and my husband swears by it).

Things will improve, it just takes time.
