Hi,

My symptoms are low blood pressure which I typically have, 90/60, but my pulse rate was 111. I was not anxious at all when this was taken. Does anyone know what this could mean? I would appreciate any answers.

Thank you.

Hugs,

Laura

Hi Laura,

Were you anxious at any point before the reading was taken? Perhaps the reading reflected your body returning to a state of relaxation? Have a big hug bud. :hugs:

Take care,

Mike x :)

I have had a bp of 90/60 many times and i don't class that as low bp, lower then yes and i have had lower too and it did scare me. But that bp seems ok to me.
As for the pulse rate, they go up and down all the time. For me i hate it and it bothers me no end and my pulse yesterday, for from about 5 pm until i woke up this morning was 110! Don't like it but it will not hurt us, i just try and reassure myself over and over again.
A lot of people have high pulse rates though, search on here and i'm sure you will find lots and lots of posts on it.
Take care and i hope you are feeling better now.x

Hi Laura, caffeine can push your heart rate up too, had you maybe had some coffee or fizzy drinks? I wouldnt worry too much about it though, our heart rate changes all the time depending on what we're doing, thinking, eating etc.

Sending you hugs

You have probably thought of this but meds can cause our BP to fall and our heart to go up?

Thank you for all your kind comments. Ruth very nice to hear from you again. I did not have any anxiety at all when this happened. I did have some blood work done the week before and results came back that my thyroid is off and so are my electrolytes plus I have a high amount of chloride in my blood. Of course, this means nothing to me but the doctor said it could have been the reason why I felt so light headed. Again, thank you so much for helping.

Love,

Laura
