Holey tonsils

Back again with something that’s not bothered me for years!
I’ve always had asymmetrical tonsil and went through months and months of worry about them. They have also always have craters/ holes in them. Today though after braking a LFT I looked in my mouth and noticed my right one is a different shape it looks like another hole has appeared around the back of the tonsil. I’m now in a panic . I’ve not looked at my tonsils for a long time so it could have been like it for years but I’m still in a worry.
Anyone else have holey tonsils and new ones appear?

Hi, years ago I was in this state with mine, tbh what I did in the end was decide not to look any more - it worked, I had forgotten all about it til I read this!

If you can see round the back of your tonsils... (HOW?!? No don't tell me) then perhaps you are looking a bit too hard. I assume you've spoken to GP/dentist and been reassured?

We all have weird little anomalies, I'm a granny now and it is completely awesome to think people just arrive fully-formed and pretty much perfect.
It would be too much to expect that we had no weird bits!

When I say around the back , I mean I can see an indent on the side which I’m presuming goes around the back . Don’t worry I’m not sticking Mirrors in there !! I havnt spoke to the dr or dentist though I have my routine dental check on Thursday. I’ve not been in over a year due to lockdowns and only seeing emergencies.
I just hope it’s just a little quirk of mine and nothing serious.
