Hi I was wondering if anyone had a reassuring answer to this.
Sorry about this gents but I am right in the middle of PMS which increases my anxieties. However the latest scary thing is that for 10 days or so my memory has got VERY bad and I can hardly concentrate on anything.
Last week I drove off forgetting to put my son't buggy board in the boot and just left it on the pavement.
I put the toaster on with no toasts in it (although I realized straight away), and last night someone asked me if I'd been watching big brother this year and I had to really think hard as I couldn't think who was in it or if I'd watched it (I would say for about 15 seconds which was scary).
Has anyone had that with PMS or anxiety?
Please reassure me, I'm thinking Alzeihmer's, brain tumor and so on.
Thank you.

Hi Toffeeapple :)

When my anxiety's worse i find it harder than usual to concentrate and remember things, but then i am a little scatty at the best of times

I know it can be hard not to think the worse sometimes when you're feeling anxious, but i'm sure you're fine. Experiencing difficulty concentrating is a very common thing to experience with anxiety. I don't really know why my memory seems to get worse when i'm more stressy, but you're not alone with this.

Hope you're feeling better anyway. Take care :hugs:

Thank you very much for your reply, it makes me feel better, I appreciate it.
It's just that normally I never forget ANYTHING, on the contrary I think of everything, so it's a little bit disconcerting. But thanks again.

Hi

I ask my hubby all the time do you think Im losing my marbles as I feel I am.

he says your preoccupied all the time, he is so right Ive got so much going on in my head concentration goes out the window.
The more anxiety I have the worse I am.I do the most silly things and also find it hard to speak, Im slow at getting words out.

I hope I'm saying the right thing to you.
Take care

If I had a pound for every time I'd put the toaster on with no bread in it, I'd be a millionaire!
