Dental xray , jaw trembling

Sorry, health anxiety playing up , just got back from dental xheck up to have a reroot canal, I needed xrays wasn't worried but for some reason my jaw would not stop shaking, trembling ,it really scared me because it was uncontrollable.anybody had this before?

I assume it stopped after the xray?

Yes !!!!! I have had this really badly a few times. I've had stacks of xrays over the years and holding the plate in your mouth and clamping it down always gave my jaw the shakes. Add into that that you are really tense in your jaw anyway (even if you don't have dental phobia - which I don't) and that you are sitting in the chair with your mouth wide open and holding those muscles in an unusual way and it seems standard that I get shaking jaw muscles for a while.
