My cat bit my and left a small punture, a little bit of blood was drawn from the skin. I immediantly cleaned it with soap and hot water. I got a tetanus booster in 2014. Just worried about infection

I've been through this panic when my husband got bitten. I sent him to the GP, who laughed (politely) in his face.

Keep it clean, apply antiseptic and don't worry about it unless it swells right up.

I have added tea tree oil and some creamy thing on it, I instantly washed it too, also have a plaster. Just dont want to try and panic as it as I am graduating today. What about rabies?

What about rabies?

The UK has been rabies-free since the beginning of the 20th century. Congrats on graduating!

Thank you, just worried about tetanus (got booster in 2014) or serious infection or sepsis.

That's nothing. I was scratched and bitten by cats multiple times and didn't have tetanus booster and never even had a slight infection let alone something more serious

My cat is constantly scratching and biting me, drawing blood. It never occurred to me to worry about it. I just put some neosporin on any of them that look swollen or red
