Hi everyone,

I just tested positive for COVID; my symptoms are slight tiredness, slightly achey arms, slight sore throat. This began about 12 hours ago.

I'm 21 and had my second jab on Sunday.

My sister has had it for about a week and her symptoms were really bad on the second day (vomiting, sickness, complete loss of voice) and then they became mild after that.

It's not bad at all right now but is it going to get worse? Am I going to die?

Hope everyone is doing okay.

You're not going to die. My boss is pushing 60 and she had nearly no symptoms.

Be good to yourself, and I hope this passes for you soon.

Oh that's reassuring.

Thank you, hope you have a great Christmas

I think you’ll be ok Toby, but I’m sorry you’ve got it.
You should be better in no time at all.

Off topic but when did you get do grown up!’

Hi All! I just tested positive also. Worried!! I feel better today but I’ve been getting random sharp pains in my abdomen. Mostly in the lower right near my right side but also randomly in other areas also. Has anyone here gotten that or heard of anyone else that have had that??

Toby, you're young, you've had one jab (not sure if the second will be effective but might give you some extra protection) so I am sure you will be absolutely fine. Likely, your symptoms will stay very mild. If you start to feel worse, don't panic - when I had it I was mild for a couple of days then got bad for a day or 2 then slowly recovered. Ring 111 if you get really really bad and need medical assistance - but I'm sure you wont need to!

Has anyone felt slightly lightheaded during their Covid? It comes and goes for me.

My neighbour did. She said she had to keep laying down or she felt dizzy.
