Melanoma Concern

Hi,

So I have developed a new mole and I am concerned about it being a melanoma.

My fiance has taken a few photos of it and it looks different in one because she changed angle and the lighting changed. Both were take in the same place one after another.

My concern was that 4 weeks ago I went to the GP and discussed an intermittent pain under my right rib cage. That pain has only happened once in the past week.

I drew a link to the new mole and liver pain = melanoma.

I am 31, white, always take care of my skin in the sun, dont smoke.

I am worried

I saw the pictures last night. The mole didn't look that suspicious - looked quite normal with even edges, rounded, light in colour.

But I suppose it would be best to get a doc to check any new moles out, especially if you are worried.

Didn't your girlfriend have a skin cancer scare a few years ago? I noticed the thread was never updated. What happened?

Ah yes she did, she had her mole removed. It was a nasty in situ from what I remember. She also has since had another nasty removed but that came back aswell.

I believe for me I am linking the mole and the odd pain I get intermittently under my right rib cage together. Hence the worry!
