I don’t know what Troponin is but hope all is okay. Deep breaths.

It's a enzyme that's released from your heart

Hi so had my scan and ecgs all clear. 3rd blood test much lower so that's good. This has caused me terrible anxiety and triggered my health anxiety again. I got discharged home last night cardiologist says raised troponin was caused my severe stress. Can't help but over think everything of course.

Thanks. I just can't help worry. Has anyone in this group ever had a elevated troponin?

I understand your fear as raised troponin levels are an indication of heart issues and having had two heart attacks, yes, my levels were off the charts. 'Mildly' elevated, and the fact they came down affirm what the cardiologist said. Best work of the cause as opposed to worrying about a non-issue.

Thanks I know with a massive heart attack the numbers will be very high. Mine was 72 2nd 128 then 49. Cardiologist says extreme stress caused it but as suffering health anxiety it's very scary. I'm glad you are doing well and you obviously cope well mentally I wish u could get to that place.
