Please help. I have two kids that need me today and I’m panicked. Today at work I smelled a smell of like a cigarette that was on clothing or a burning type smell. It lingered a moment and I asked my coworker if she smelled it to which she said no. I’m horrified that I need to see a neurologist.
I recently had a sinus CT so I know it’s nothing related to my nose / olfactory up front but what about a BT 😫 Please someone….anyone!

We have had posts about this in the past and nothing sinister was found.

My mum had this for about 6 months. It went away by itself. A common cause is a viral infection. We now wonder if she had covid and didnt realise.

This happens once and a while to me. Even in my house (No one smokes ). I like to think of it as a ghost who, when alive on earth used to smoke and is hanging out. (haha) no seriously, I can honestly say most people I know have experienced this that I know. And if you are female and in your 40's it's a sign of changing hormones and is very common
