My elderly mom recently had a heart attack. I recovered from covid a month ago and bought a oximeter. I swear my heart is beating fast. My daily pulse anywhere from 86 to 92. This seems so high to me. I’m in my mid 50’s and exercise daily. Starting to worry about heart problems. I know it’s still in normal range but does this seem high?

I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. I hope she recovers quickly.

I’m also post COVID, 5 weeks to be exact. I’m a bit overweight and I’m 28 years old. I find my heart races more than usual from doing simple things. I also think I might get tachycardia, I’ve had like a flip flop sensation in my chest but I’ve had it since high school, seems to heighten with anxiety. It makes me burp when this happens.

Have you checked with your doctor? I’m a bit nervous to. I recently got a chest X-ray done and my lungs were okay. But still not 100% my normal self yet.
