Raw bean sprouts

I know this is random, but me and my 11 year old ate some raw beansprouts for dinner and apparently you shouldn't eat them uncooked due to listeria, salmonella high risk.. I obviously didn't know this at the time and bit worried now especially for my daughter. Anyone else eaten them.raw and been ok? Thanks!

I actually don’t think I knew you could cook bean sprouts. I’ve only ever eaten them raw.
