Hi all. So it is 5am here and I just woke up with the worst sore throat/chest. I wasn't feeling great all of yesterday and I've been contemplating calling an ambulance because I feel like my breathing tube is inflamed and closing up - can this happen as a result of a throat/chest infection? I've done three covid tests and all have come back negative, but they are quite old so I'm worried the tests have expired and are giving me false results. I'm basically in a panic, sipping warm water with honey, worrying that I'm gonna not be able to breathe. Would you call an ambulance? Any reassurance welcome. Thanks in advance.

I've got the same thing, I think. It was horrible but I didn't think to call an ambulance. The worst of the chest sensations passed within a day or so, but I still have a horrible cough and sore throat.

Have a duvet day and try not to worry.
