pea size lump on shin

I happened to be rubbing my shin toward my ankle and I felt a very small, rubbery movable lump under the skin. You can't actually see it, but you can feel it pretty easily. Has anyone had a tiny lump that you can feel, but not see? What did it end up being?

Same here, a few weeks ago I was rubbing my shin and felt a rubbery lump, mine is more oblong and about the width of my fingertip. I totally panicked for a few days until I found something similar on the other leg, but an inch or so lower and more in the front part of my shin. I think it is either normal like a ligament or could be the result of banging my shins a lot over the years (lots of bruises). I stopped worrying so much about it, just wanted to let you know I have something similar.
