i went for a root canal and it needed 3 sessions

the doctor used intoral digital xray the one that has stand and can be moved easily he put something in my center of mouth then takes the xray its a quick one like 10ms i think it was sirona brand the picture get shown in the laptop instantly

he did two first visit

then took one or two next visit - after 3 days of first visit

then today took 2 after - 2-3 days from second visit!!

im getting so worried and panicking about it!! how dangerous was it??? he really took a lot!

i asked the doctor i told him i don't want and it's dangerous he laughed and said don't worry here i am taking it to hundreds of patients etc

but i don't know i feel like it's not related like he isn't the person whos being directed at and taking the xray at his mouth!

anyway was it dangerous for me to take all that xrays in this short period of time?!

we have hundreds of posts about this and no-one has ever been over exposed to xrays or scans.

You are fine.

No, it’s fine. They wouldn’t take the risk with your health if it wasn’t.

I have xrays done 18-24 months at the dentist, prefer regularly to spot any problems early

I had a number done when I needed braces, and had those metal plates place in my mouth to help get better xrays photos
