Double vision - reassurance that this is normal?

Hi, it’s been years since I’ve been in a state like this, but the stresses of life are starting to catch up with me. I’m just looking for some reassurance as to if this is normal or not.

If something moves quickly towards and away from your eyes, do you see double? I noticed today that if I move my phone relatively quickly in front of and way from my eyes, I see double, and it’s kicked off my usual brain tumour fears.

Just wondering if this is at all normal.

I just experimented with this (glasses off)

I have one of the Forest Friend bunnies as my screen wallpaper (the Sniff it Barry it's not Marmite one :)) and I saw two bunnies.

Lovely to hear, thanks for replying - very appreciated. I suppose it is just the eyes focusing and refocusing on something at a distance.

I notice it is more pronounced when the object is closer to my eyes, and I can just about reproduce the effect at slower speeds - odd!
