White light in corner of one eye when eyes closed

So the strangest thing happened yesterday. I got settled into bed and noticed there was a white arc in the corner of my left eye while my eyes were CLOSED. I proceeded to panic and thank God the light disappeared after a few minutes. What was that? Has anyone ever had this????

Does anyone get anything like this? Colours in eye when sleeping?

I get this from time to time. Sometimes the light is blue-ish. I’ve reported to my eye doc and she says it’s common and nothing to worry about.

It’s crazy how you get this too! Thanks for responding! I feel like it’s bluish for me too and it disappears quite quickly. Does it happen with eyes closed in the dark? Do you think it happens after you’ve been looking at the phone for a while?

You know, now that you mention it, it does seem to happen after a lot of screen time.
