I have an endoscopy tomorrow but have a fear of needles and do not want to be knocked out. Is it really that bad and is the spray? Some people say its quick others ages?

Hey Willous. Been a while! You've been off of here for a long bit and now, all of a sudden you're posting a lot (5 threads in the last 10 days) about many different and some irrational things. Has something happened to trigger this? Just curious as I haven't seen you spiral like this for a long while

Thank you Nora. I have now had it without sedation. The actualy procedure was no more than 2 minutes. No signs of anything worrying at all which is great. He asked if I had drank water beforehand as there was water in the stomach which is now my next thing to fixate on :).

The procedure was ofcourse not comfortable but the throat spray stuff was actually fine.

Fishmanpa, I think I've spiralled a bit but hopefully after the bloods and this will calm down a bit. The stress is causing moat of my symptoms.

That’s good to hear. Be prepared for lots of burping today and tomorrow maybe. I had it without sedation too. Unpleasant, but not too bad.
