Hi, I suffer with PMR (polymyalgia rheumatica) and am just experiencing a flare after a reduction in my steroid dose. I have noticed that for the last couple of days I can see an artery on the left side of my neck pulsing. It may be that it does that and I have not noticed but it seems strange. Has anyone else noticed this themselves, either with or without PMR? It is making me a little anxious. I am not noticing any problems like rapid hearbeat or palpitations etc.

I'm a H&N cancer survivor and had 23 nodes removed from the left side of my neck. You can visibly see a difference if you look. Take that and weight loss over the last couple of years and yes, I definitely can see a pulse (if I look and that's the key... There's no reason to). It depends on your physical makeup and such but I don't see why that would be concerning in the least TBH.
