Vulvoscopy/colposcopy on period?

Hello Ladies

I have a long awaited vulvoscopy booked for this coming tuesday to take a couple of biopsies and its sods law that this afternoon i have started to spot....My periods have become so erratic recently that its hard to know when im going to be hit with a period.

I have tried to call the unit to see if i can still attend but they are closed now and im left here wondering....has anyone been able to go ahead with one whilst spotting/on period?

I have had a colposcopy whilst on a period but you may be best checking with them on Monday

I have emailed the colposcopy secretary and if i dont hear back will call Monday if im still spotting!
