Hi

Just a quick question. I am taking Citalopram and have been for the past 9 months but although it helps me feel slightly less panicky overall, when im in a "triggering" situation it doesnt seem to help. My GP said he could give me Diazepam for as and when i really needed it but i havent taken it before and i dont really want to start.

I have heard that rescue remedy can be quite helpful for when you feel a panic attack coming on. Can anyone tell me if they have found it helpful?

Thanks, Emma :)

I personally like Rescue Remedy. If I were you, I would just go ahead and give it a try. Since it is homeopathic and very natural and safe, it should be pretty easy to try without worrying about any side effects and stuff like that. If you're concerned about drug interactions, then you might see if you can find a naturopthic doctor who could let you know if they thought the Rescue Remedy (http://www.seacoastvitamins.com/product_info.php?products_id=1766) would interact with anything you're currently taking. Definitely do some research on it and consider it though, because I think it works pretty well.
