Thyroid Nodules

Hi folks. I went to doctor yesterday for yearly physical, she palpated thyroid and said she felt two small nodules. She is sending me for an ultrasound for thyroid. Well, I am now really worried about thyroid cancer. Only thing I have been feeling is like soothing stuck in throat fro about two weeks, I am highly anxious so I feel that can cause that sensation. Just really worried about these nodules. Doctor said she wasn't "overly concerned".

They're common. Also, did you know thyroid issues can cause twitching? :) Ask me how I know, lol!

Thanks for the response. Yes the doctor said they were common. I think my mind is going to this lump/stuck feeling in throat and thinking this is sign. I am determined to stay off google to look up signs...
