OK so... hm.
First of all hi everyone again! I'm not sure who is still here from before but I haven't posted in a long while I don't think!
Maybe I will start posting more often again I dunnos :)
Anywho so... I live in a 1970s house (shared accommodation) and soon I will be buying another almost identical 1970s house.
I had no idea how prevalent asbestos still was omg >.<
I mean... I didn't even know when these houses were built until now.
Both need work done on walls. I'm just concerned that there might be asbestos in there. Partly because of my own health but even more so because I was intending to rent out that other house and I'm concerned about anything that might be a risk to tenants (I don't want to get sued or anything).
What should I do >.<
My landlord assures me that there is no asbestos in the walls but I have no idea how he knows this (maybe I'll ask) and also he has stated other things recently with 100% conviction and then been flat-out wrong.
So... I dunno. I'm so tempted to jettison all of this, move out, etc.
What do you guys n gals think?
