Talking to my Doctor December. I am looking to get off Mirtazapine in place to Dayvigo instead. Any advice would be great.

Dayvigo (lemborexant) is a new insomnia med. It was only approved for sale about 18 months ago. There is very little patient feedback to date. Looks like you've volunteered to be the NMP guinea pig, Sean. Please keep us informed on its effectiveness, side-effects and other issues, if any.

Hi, i have been taking 30mg of mirtazapine for near on two years and have not gained any weight, never heard of the other drug you mentioned. There are so many anti-depressant tablets. It must be hard trying to find one that suits. All the best anyway x

I was referring to you being the first from NMP trying it, not a guinea pig for the med itself. It has FDA and Health Canada approval so has passed all of the pre-marketing drug trials for efficacy and safety.

what would happen if i stop it cold turkey and use davigo as a replacement? I know I talk to my dr the 12th just curious if anyone else did it the rough way cold turkey?

Are you still on 30mg mirtazapine, Sean? If so, it would be better to wean off it rather than quit cold-turkey as you've been on it for quite a while if memory serves.

Then ask your doctor for guidance on weaning off it.
