Has anyone here had a breast lump that’s appeared 4/5 months after a normal mammogram?
My mother was referred to breast clinic Feb 2021 due to a lump - all was fine. It was a cyst. She had her 3 yearly routine mammogram in July - all came back fine. Now she’s found a lump and they’ve referred her back. In the past she’s had cysts, so I’m trying to stay calm. I think it would be unusual for a sinister lump to grow so quickly? Does anyone have any experience of this?
