I was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia in June with Ferittin levels of 2. I've had various tests with no cause found and was prescribed ferrous sulphate. In August my Ferritin levels showed as 33 so much better, that was after only a few weeks. However after 3 months of taking it went to 29 however my iron tests were really high. I've been advised to stop taking the tablets but I'm so stressed. Obviously I have too as iron so high but won't my ferritin drop.
