Depression?

Hi Guys,
Dunno if I'm in the right place or not but here goes.
I've been doing really well with anxiety for the last 2 years but things have gotten a bit slow at work (I sell real estate) and as a result I'm getting really down and starting to worry about losing my job.
I've been on 10mg Cipralex and 10mg/day of Valium for about 4 yrs now.
My question is am I depressed? Is it the meds ?Or is it just the meds?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as all I feel like is sitting at my desk and crying.
Any ideas on how to get motivated again?

Hi I think the worry about your job is bringing you down when I want to motivate myself I give myself a reward when I achieve something( usually choclate lol).Hope all goes well for you.:hugs: :hugs:

Hi Phil,

You say you've been taking 10mg Cipralex and 10mg of Valium for 4yrs now. My opinion would be no doubt I feel you have probably become immune to the Cipralex, but Valium 10mg for 4yrs ! I would be asking my doctor why he/she has been prescribing me Valium for 4yrs without any therapy.

I would make an appointment with your doctor as the med's may not be working for you anymore and it sounds as though you need some extra help.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I think I found my problem - I just got a new estate to sell with my own office and my spirits have soared.
I think it was just all that sitting around doing nothing all day that got to me.
