Hit my head

Yesterday I hit the top of my head on my table when getting up and it did hurt! I panicked because I got scared of getting a concussion or brain bleed. It has been over 24 hours now and I can still feel pain/pressure on the area where I hit my head! I wonder if a hit like that can cause something serious! What does it mean that my head is still feeling pain?

It likely means you've bruised it. It will go down.

You would have to hit your head very, very hard to have a brain bleed. Like being in a car accident. Your skull is there for times just like this, and it's done its job.

I've hit my head on the table loads of times. It will feel a bit sensitive for a day or two.
