Heartburn Day After Large Meal

I had some reflux issues at the start of the year.
Dr put me on omeprazole. Finished omeprazole 6 weeks ago and apart from very slight issues all was well 99% better.
Last night went out for a meal. Italian, so garlic bread, oil, tomato sauces etc.
Today I've had reflux on and off all day.
Could last night have caused this issue?

Also, can you have issues nearly 24 hrs after a meal.

You can 110% have issues from both ends and for more than a day or two due to a meal that doesn't agree with your body, PPI or not.
