Got a lump checked last Friday (it's now Monday) after a short wait for an appointment, ended up getting it scanned and biopsy taken. I'm so nervous :(
The doctor who first assessed me said he thinks it's a fibroadenoma, this was echoed by the doctor who scanned and took biopsy. Then I returned to the first doctor who mentioned it again and told me they will remove it, asked how I wanted it to be removed.. I just couldn't stop thinking about how they biopsied it though, I'm so worried that they're concerned about it. The doc who scanned it said nothing about it physically concerned him, but I'm wondering if he just said that to keep me calm.
Is it normal for them to biopsy fibroadenomas and also offer to remove them straight away?
