Small Freckle Under Tonail

This morning I found a small, round, dark freckle under my toenail (4th one down from the big toe) about the size of a pencil tip. Tried to do a search on if it's normal for someone to get a freckle under the toenail and every article is about melanoma. Now I'm freaking out. Is this normal?

This happened to me last year and I was freaked out too. However, the dot grew out with my toenail and went away!
