Really just posting in the hope that writing it off me will help me feel calmer.
I bought a new car back in February and I can finally go pick it up tomorrow. You have no idea how much I've been looking forward to this. I was so excited about it!
But my anxiety has been a lot higher in recent weeks than it's been in a long time.
And for the past few days I've been getting really nervous about this. I have to spend 5 hours on public transport to get there. And then it's a 3 hour drive back.
I've always loved driving. It's one of my favourite things to do. I also can't ever remember having a panic attack while driving, but for some reason now I'm really worried about that tomorrow. It's a long drive. My anxiety is pretty high all the time. It's a car I don't know at all. I'm literally sitting here with the nervous shakes.
I hate this so much! I hate that I'm allowing anxiety to take the joy away from something I've been looking forward to for so long! But I doubt I'll sleep a wink tonight.
