Tongue cancer worries

Does anyone know if it’s a normal variation, for the foliate papillae on the tongue to be bigger on one side than the other? (Almost flat on the left side of the tongue, but nodular and bumpy on the right)
Also, is it normal to be able to see red lines (like blood vessels or something scratch-like looking) on the *top* of the tongue at the back? Again, only visible on the right hand side.

Absolutely! Who, under just normal everyday life, takes the time to examine their tongue in such detail, notice something that in their anxiety mind doesn't look right, go down the rabbit hole and then look for reassurance on an anxiety website? :winks: I think you know you're Ok. The dragon appears to be hungry. Starve him!
