Have a mri with contrast booked for next week, not worried about the mri itself just the use of contrast.... looking for some positive thoughts on having it?

I don't know of anyone that has ever had a reaction to it. I think it is pretty rare.

It's been a while but I had several of them before, during and after cancer treatment as well as for heart exams and I can tell you from personal experience, it's nothing to worry about. It just feels a little weird is all. I was put on an IV and they told me they were injecting the contrast and I would feel it. No pain or anything, just weird. It went away quickly as well. Don't sweat it really :winks:

Thanks for the replies! Eases my mind abit.... have been relentlessly obsessing over it more than the results of it lol
