Anyone else have white raised small patches (normally in the corner area of the eyelids? Sometimes they can appear underneath the eye too.
I've been trying to find out what it is and only come up with something called Xanthelasma. (this is a type of fatty deposit in the skin) I'm not totally sure because I'm going by pictures on the Internet.
I've seen a few people with this and also young people so I don't think it is an age thing.
With me it started with an itch and dry area on the eyelid skin. It's not painful but unsightly and yes, I do wear eye makeup.
I would be interested if anyone else has this.

I've got little round balls under the skin, one on my eyelid and a kind of scaly patch of skin on the side of my nose near my eye. I don't really worry about them.

Thanks for your reply catkins, I'm not really worried about tbh, it is what it is and no one has said "ugh, look at her face". Ok, I was a bit bothered at first but now I know what it is and it's harmless, I can live with that. A bit like anxiety, lol. When I pointed them out to Mr C, he had to get a magnifying glass to see them.
I just wondered how common it was really. And whether it bothers anyone who has them.
