Today (16th) is the birthday of our dear, Carnation, and a good friend to me who I have neglected this year.

Carn, I hope you have a fantastic birthday and MrC takes you out somewhere special. I know you will understand why I've not been around but I'm typing you up an explanation of how things have moved on with mum at my end which has led to me stepping back from many things.
