I was seasoning a whole raw chicken with my bare hands. Afterwards while washing my hands, I discovered two small scratches that I got from my friend’s cat yesterday. I forgot about these while handling the raw chicken otherwise I would have put on gloves or something. Is there a risk of some sort of blood infection since raw chicken touched the cuts? I don’t know if this is even possible, but I’m worrying about it now. I did wash my hands throughly and also put some peroxide on the cut just to be safe.
