quetiapine help needed

Hello every one ..been looking at all the stories regarding this medication as my psychiatrist wants to start me on it , i currently take 30 escitalopram and 45 mirtazapine...i see some people say it makes you numb.. what does this mean as it is scaring me , would appreciate some feedback i realize im only starting on a small does to calm me

Numbing cuts the emotional highs and lows. Most psychiatric medications, including escitalopram and mirtazapine, may produce this side-effect, but it is by no means a given.

i would still be taking my mirtazapine and escitalopram. .have been on them for 13 years now quetiapine would start at 25mg thanks for replying to me
