Head pain

sorry to post again so soon, can it be anxiety that is causing my head to feel so tight even my eyes feel tight which affects my vision. I also get a lot of pain in my jaw , nose and neck

Hi – feeling like there is a tight band around your head, pressure, tightness, head neck shoulder pain and/or stiffness, shooting pains in the face scalp or head are all common anxiety symptoms. It is all to do with the adrenaline doing strange things with your body.

I often suffer from these symptoms (and dizziness). I am trying to accept these by telling myself it is only an adrenaline reaction and nothing else.

Hi thanks for your reply. I also suffer from dizziness but not the room spinning kind but as if my mind is moving

that sounds just like my migraines , for years i thought it was my sinuses.

I get them more when premenstrual or after eating cheese.

Maybe you need to find out what your triggers are :shrug: .

Right now and all day at work i had all these symptoms. And boy does it hurt, and the bright lights at work only made it worse. Try not to worry and relax and i'll do the same lol!

Hi Joe, thanks a lot, this is the symptom that really bothers me i cant get away from as it is focused all around my head. My head just seems as if theres a bowling ball in it a very large bowling ball. My muscles in my head really contract so tight which also affects my vision.I have read so many posts that say if there was something serious it would be there all the time which frightens me as mine is. I have had a lot of tests done, cat scan, neurologist, neck x-ray as my neck kept cracking,bloodworks. I feel that my symptoms are getting worse since i had all those tests done, probably my anxiety getting worse
