since Wednesday morning, February 28th, I woke up with strong cramps and my poop was very soft like water, but I only went to the bathroom a couple of times that day, the next day, February 29th, I continued, loose stools, and a lot of noise in my stomach and gases. Today, March 1st, I already went to the bathroom twice, a little more hardened and already shaped like a poop, but still far from normal and I still have gas and noise in my stomach, even because a little water comes out with it. This is driving me crazy with anxiety because this is a change in intestinal habit and the main symptom of C. and now I'm totally focused on it I even feel a strange sensation in my rectum that I don't even know how to explain. because I know that a feeling of incomplete evacuation is also symptoms of C. Can anyone help me????

Yes. This sort of thing is zero reason to worry unless it persists for weeks on end.

Thank you for returning, any message helps me at this time. I omitted one detail but for me it's not important the night before the incident I was with friends and I drank three cans of beer and we ate some pizza and this happened a few hours later, but if it was something with the drink or food it should have happened to the others and it didn't happen.

I agree with BlueIris, you've absolutely zero to worry about. Stools are rarely the same every time we 'go', and our digestive system reacts in different ways to different foods.

I understand, but after this episode, which has been almost 3 days, it's still not normal, both the poop and the noises in the stomach and this sensation of something in the rectum, that worries me, if it were a virus or intoxication it would have to be diarrhea with more than 3 days to the bathroom a day.

Health anxiety is hell but any help you have I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

reading other reports here on the forum I remembered another detail, I took antibiotics for 5 days, two a day, that is, 10 tablets of amoxicillin 500mg. But I took it two weeks ago and the effects can last for two months, but why didn't it happen just days after taking it?

No 'butts' about it ;) It's either a reaction to diet or a minor stomach bug. The fact it's getting better affirms that so.....

and that the improvement is small, the pain has reduced, the noise too, but the sensation of something in the rectum has not, and also my poop is not the same nor the number of times I go to the bathroom. That's why I try to keep turning over everything I did to associate it, but I can only associate it with misfortune

I'm not one for paid reassurance but if you're that concerned, see your doctor. 'Told ya so gang' on standby ;)

I know that no one can say 100% anything here, no one is a doctor. But I just want opinions on whether my associations with antibiotics can make sense even 15 days after stopping taking them. and Fish when do you use local expressions I can't understand like this:
Told ya so gang' on standby

It means he thinks you're being ridiculous, because you kind of are.

Pro tip from somebody with decades of health anxiety: if you need to be told something specific to find peace, you need to learn to tell yourself and believe it.

Today is another difficult day, I woke up right after I went to the bathroom, it was better than yesterday, but it didn't take another hour I had to go again and then I had diarrhea again. My head was lost again, I had an hour between the first trip to the bathroom and the second one of peace and then everything came again. The thought of the big C has increased a lot in my head, because I've had this change in my bowel habits for 4 days now, if it were diarrhea I would go to the bathroom several times a day and in my case I only go once or twice and it alternates between improvement and diarrhea .

If I was given £1 for every time I went to the bathroom and it wasn't a "normal" poo I would be a millionaire. A million things can upset your stomach, mild stomach viruses, stress, your diet, the position of the sun in the sky...

The number one thing that'll definitely screw with your bowls movements is anxiety! You ate or drank something that disagreed with you, then immediately started assuming it was cancer. It's no surprise your bowel movements are still iffy. Bowel movements as a symptom of cancer should not be measured across a few days (unless you're pooing blood).

I thought I should come here to show the resolution of everything that happened to me in the last 20 days.

As I reported, I had a change in bowel habits 15 days ago, with softer stools, I live in Brazil and here, if you have a private plan, you can go directly to the specialist, which is what I did and he, seeing my anxiety situation, requested a colonoscopy exam, but On the day of the appointment, he told me to stay calm, as he didn't think it was serious.

In short, the exam took 15 days to be carried out, so my life became hell and unlike other times, this time I was sure I had the damn C, my head fantasized about the entire tragedy my whole life went through in my head, I fantasized about everything from the treatment to the rest of life like living with a colostomy bag and several other things that if I were to write it would exceed the character limit.

Finally, I had the exam yesterday, I was very nervous and at the end of the exam the Dr sent me a MESSAGE. “EVERYTHING IS OK, NOTHING ABNORMAL”

I lost 20 days of my life, left my wife almost crazy, family members all worried. But I still feel symptoms and to tell the truth it has relieved me, but my mind still thinks a little like, for example, the doctor hasn't released the report yet, maybe he doesn't want to tell me something. But finally I'm calmer and I'm going to seek help.

“EVERYTHING IS OK, NOTHING ABNORMAL”

That's what I meant by the 'Told Ya So' gang ;)
