Hi everyone,

Been ok HA wise for some time now. Been referred for urgent blood test and keeping a lid on the anxiety.

Last month or so I've had consistently lighter poos, noted it, got on with life.. Today it was properly grey coloured. I spiralled. Contacted my GP and sent a photo (urgh poor GP!!!) and she called me back for an urgent blood test to make sure there's no blockage. Blood test is tomorrow.

Please people give me all the strategies to keep me sane.

Thank you

I’ve been having a number of tests over the last few months and it’s been really tough but what helped me was reading, meditation apps, podcasts about health anxiety, walking, exercise, anything you can do with your hands (crafting, drawing etc), iPad games that you can lose yourself in. Hope that everything goes well and you get some answers soon.

Thank you Melie. My bloods were done all were fine except the GGT which was slightly raised. Im still having low level health anxiety that something is wrong. I think in part triggered by the Princess of Wales news (similar age, children and gender to me). Im not panicking or reassurance seeking yet... But I can feel it's there.
