Hi!

For the past few months, every few weeks or so I have felt a sudden and quick (few seconds) pressure behind my nose, in my sinuses I presume.

For the past few months I have been in a state of anxiety, so presume this is anxiety related.

At the same time as the pressure comes I get a surge or anxiety - I think the pressure happens first.

My nose is perfectly clear, no blockage and no mucus.

I've had anxiety for over 20 years and this is a new one on me.

Anybody relate - have an ideas? I'm thinking it is anxiety?

Very much sounds like anxiety which is probably making you breath in a shallow way of tensing head and neck. I get something that may be similar and it's my jaw and neck affecting muscles.

Anxiety is clever like that. It can always find new ways to surprise you with random feelings and symptoms.

Yep I get this and also clear sinuses :) body’s work in mysterious ways huh!

Could be allergy related, could just be good old anxiety fixating again 😉

Have you tried taking an antihistamine to check if it makes you feel any different?
