Ankle Pain

Hi. About 3 days go in the middle of the night I woke up with a bad pain in my ankle and thought just maybe where I was tired or something. A few days later it's still hurting, the pain is coming from the top of the ankle. There is no redness or swelling. It's just very achy. I'm starting to freak out a little bit worried it could be neuropathy, bone cancer, leukemia, MS, Arthritis. I'm 37. Anyone had this before? Any logical explanations for it?

Hi, the ankle pain was bad for about 3 days and it went yesterday when I started my period. Has anyone had that before? Can hormones cause this? Could it be to do with perimenopause?

I've never had that before, my period was about 5 days late.
