This is an excellent article regarding suppressing emotion and how that causes panic/anxiety. It seems to be from a book - don't know which book though which is a shame. Can't even remember how I came across the article now. Anyway have a read because it's very good.

It is a fantastic article and I think the catalyst for a lot of people's problems. I just wish I could find which book it's taken from.

Hi Yvonne, I have read a few bits by this author, his book is called

Understanding Panic Attacks and Overcoming Fear: Roger Baker

the link to his articles can be found at

www.emotionalprocessing.org.uk/Preventing%20panic%20attacks/Contents.htm (http://www.emotionalprocessing.org.uk/Preventing%20panic%20attacks/Contents.htm)

It is a very interesting article especially about supressing your emotions, as i find even if something happy or exciting happens my body feels that first flutter in my stomach and reacts with panic. It can no longer tell the difference between good and bad events.

Read the article and it was very good, yep the book would be very helpful
I don't reckon much good comes of thinking too much. I'm sure all those people who are contented and happy with their lives hardly ever indulge in "deep thinking" difficult though if you are of a analytical nature.
