I think I should be here, but not sure, I've spent the last two years thinking i'm going to die or become incapacitated, writing it down seem strange to say.
I fell ill two years ago with a 'virus' Since then I've been all over the place and from being very active (I still exercise but find it much harder) I seem to be a recluse who saves his energy to drag himself to work and then wants to get home as quick as possible. I find it hard to believe my physical symptoms can be psychosomatic, but there we are. Anyway hello  all I want is my life back. If anyone would be kind enough to tell me where to go here regarding physical symptoms I'd appreciate it.

hi there
Have you talked it over with your GP?

Hi There

I have talked it over with the doctor i felt very unwell two years ago, and I was told I had 'Chronic fatigue' and that it would go away but my symptoms ( for me ) were very physical shaky and weak... They sent me to a specialist in the end who tested me for everything..Nothing. My Symptoms then started to come and go irregularly, Very recently I realised that one of the main ones was terror,a lot of the time in cycle with my stress in my life.. I was at work the other day and for no reason at all suddenly felt ill but very panicked and wanted to leave the room.. It's all very hard to square as i feel generally terrible but in between I'm very active (it is part of my job) But most off the time i seem to save up my energy (not so much physical but mental) go to work and then want to go home and hide...The fact that alcohol seem to get rid off a lot of my more physical symptoms made me realise that maybe it's me making myself ill. ;[

Hello again
I feel a bit out of my depth commenting on your experiences - there are some odd viruses out there (medical science is a long way from knowing it all) and yet it does sound a lot like good old "all in the mind!" anxiety. I wonder if you've explained the entire situation with your Doc, or just the physical stuff? Is it possible they're focusing too much on the symptoms you've presented but they're ignoring the cause? Perhaps some sort of therapy to help you heal your mind might be more successful? If, as you say, there is a bit too much stress in your life, maybe that needs to be tackled first - or new ways need to be found to cope with it. If you're not able to talk things over with friends or family, at least you've come to a good supportive forum where we might be able to take an objective look at your whole lifestyle and suggest positive changes - if that helps.
