Hi Im 29 and have suffered anxiety for 6 years now. I have mainly a fear of being sick but suffer health anxiety generally. I used to get real bad panic attacks and was agrophobic for a few weeks but am getting better now. Ive had enough of this and am more determined than ever to just ignore my feelings and get over this. Wish me luck!! xxx

If you ever get chance you should read Claire Weekes book self help for your nerves. It explains every anxiety symptom and why it occurs. Headaches for example are because when we are anxious the muscles in our neck tense and constant tension in this area leads to headache.

Good luck too x

The symptoms that arise with being a hypochondriac are hard to ignore. In your mind they pose a mortal threat and there is no consequence scarier that death (the unknown).

The truth is that more than likely you are completely healthy. More than likely you will live a long life. You are more aware of your health than most people and for that reason you probably care for your body more.

Tell yourself every morning that you are healthy and practice gratitude for your good fortune.

Warm Regards,
Rachel
