I was wondering how many of us there are plagued by fibromyalgia and if so if any of you are having problems with the cold weather at the moment.
Since the cold snap settled in I have been plagued by aches and pains. If out in the cold I feel so tensed up that it takes my breath away. When inside a heated room it is just as bad - I start to feel breathless and the aches and pains start. I try to stay in a moderate temperature (extremes of temp have an adverse effect with fibro) but seem locked in an endless cycle of good day/bad day/good day just lately. It doesn't help that my work colleague is constantly cold (even in the summer!!) and was basking in the office central heating and the glow of a fan heater yesterday. Felt like I had been on a visit to the tropics when I left yesterday!
