49yo woman, I live in the Mid-west United States -
I have 1 grown son, 1 DIL, 5 grand-daughters, 2 litter-box trained rabbits
diagnosed bi-polar 25 yrs ago + on various medications since then
between the bp + my tendency for paradoxical reactions to meds, can't take much for anxiety
have been on disability for 5 yrs
I see my therapist 2x a week, pdoc 1x month
I don't drive + have to rely on my son for trips to the grocery store, etc
RARELY go out of house - takes a great effort to force myself to go to my Women's AA meetings once a week (a 4 block walk from my apartment) - used to go to mtgs nearly every day and felt so much better than I do now - have isolated myself to the extreme
I have been clean + sober for 15+ years
just quit smoking - I literally couldn't breathe any more and if felt like it was more than "just" a panic attack -
Looking for tips on how to STOP ISOLATING!
It's become an addiction in it's own right and I am miserable
