I had to just come on and rant about this, cos it upset me so much and I am now drained.
I ordered a credit card 2 weeks ago which would help me pay for my hire car to go and see my Mum and my b/f's Mum and Dad over Christmas.
The Royal Mail decided to go on strike only in our post code area and consequently the credit card never turned up. I was so distraught. I probably overreacted due to my low tolerance for stress but I thought I wasn't going to be able to see my Mum which upset me so much as its been a tough year and I just wanted a hug from her :blush:
Anyway, my b/f's parents are going to drive down to us and pay for the car on the 27th so we can go see my mum on the 29th (we were due to see her on Boxing Day) which I am so grateful for.
I'm glad at least I can see her now, but I worked myself up so much and I think I have a cold as I am hot and cold, achy, and have a cough so it didnt help that I got so wound up as I feel so under the weather now.
On top of this we are going out tonight and there is more than likely gonna be a girl at this pub who I have been anxious about in the past because I felt threatened by her in terms of my relationship with my b/f, as they seemed a bit too close (I've waffled about this in other threads!).
Things always come all at once don't they. I am hoping tonight will be stress free, but I feel quite ill and not up for socialising at all :weep:
And people wonder why I dont like Christmas! :wacko:
